Procurement Specialist

Our client, a leading aerospace and defense organization, is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will be part of the Strategic Sourcing organization supporting cross-functional procurement and program teams. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, strong analytical abilities, and the ability to collaborate across teams, which will align successfully in the organization.

** What's the Job?*
* + Execute FAR 15 subcontracts in accordance with FAR, DFARS, and other applicable regulations.

+ Conduct supplier market research and evaluate supplier information to identify qualified suppliers.

+ Obtain and manage solicitation documentation, including drawings, supplier scorecards, and historical purchase data.

+ Support subcontract negotiations involving pricing, terms, and conditions.

+ Manage supplier relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement compliance and program success.

** What's Needed?*
* + Minimum 3 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Contracts & Legal, Business, or Finance.

+ Must be a U.S. Person/U.S. Citizen due to contractual requirements.

+

Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) preferred.

+ Strong negotiation skills and understanding of contract terms and conditions.

+ Bachelor's Degree preferred.
