Position:
Procurement & Strategy Manager I, Global Supply Chain Transportation Procurement – Tempe, AZ.
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Procurement & Strategy Manager to join our Global Supply Chain and Transportation Procurement team.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with Senior Vendor Sourcing Managers to execute procurement strategies for transportation services.
- Own and analyze key performance metrics for the transportation procurement portfolio.
- Conduct detailed invoice analysis and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with service level agreements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align procurement strategies with business needs.
- Create and maintain procurement documentation and reporting dashboards.
- Support strategic sourcing initiatives and contract negotiations.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, transportation or a related area.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving capabilities.
- Experience in transportation or logistics procurement.
- Knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS).
- Familiarity with procurement analytics and spend analysis tools.
- Project management certification (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent).
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean).
Base pay ranges from $48,300 to $103,400 per year, depending on market location. Compensation may also include equity, sign‑on payments, and other benefits such as medical, financial, and additional perks.
