Job Description
You will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies to ensure the contracting of materials and services that support organizational objectives related to cost, quality, delivery, and supplier performance. This role leads supplier selection, material quoting and contract negotiations, while identifying opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supply risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives for assigned categories and commodities.
Lead supplier evaluations, RFQ events, negotiations, and contract management activities.
Analyze supplier proposals, pricing structures, market conditions, and spend data to determine fair and reasonable cost position
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Program Management to align sourcing strategies with business requirements.
Monitor market trends, supply chain risks, and industry developments to proactively address sourcing challenges.
Support supplier transitions and supply continuity planning.
Qualifications:
Experience with Federal Acquisitions Regulations ( *
* FAR
**) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)
Experience with Truthful Cost or Pricing Data (TCPD)
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Finance, or a related field preferred.
4-6 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or related purchasing functions.
Demonstrated experience in supplier negotiations, contract management, and sourcing strategy development.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency with SAP ERP systems, procurement tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of sourcing best practices, cost analysis methodologies, and supplier performance management.

Exercises independent judgment and decision-making within established policies and procedures.
Works with limited supervision and manages multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Reports to the Sub-Contracts Director for the assigned commodity
