Demand Planning Analyst

• Support the development of statistical forecasts and manage seasonality and events to develop reliable depletion projections
• Manage forecast exceptions using demand-planning reports to address variances and correct errors
• Interact with sales, brand management, and purchasing to understand and interpret market trends and demand drivers
• Adjust forecasts to reflect market impacts or risks
• Collect past and future demand factors, including distribution gains/losses, price changes, new/discontinued products, and promotion plans
• Support the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process by updating demand-related reports, metrics, and dashboards
• Develop and run basic ad hoc reports and analyses for the demand planning team
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Supply Chain, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Business) and/or equivalent training and work experience
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in purchasing, demand planning, supply chain, finance, or a similar analytics-focused position; internship or co-op experience may be considered
• Advanced PC skills using MS Office and various computer programs, including presentation software
• Verbal and written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion
• Customer service skills
• Ability to multitask, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail, and meet deadlines
• Analytic and reporting skills
• Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume team environment
• Preferred: inventory replenishment and/or supply chain experience
• Preferred: exposure to or training in statistical models and their application
• Knowledge or experience with Excel modeling and/or simulation is a plus
• Ability to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone

Demonstrates expertise in demand planning and statistical forecasting, with strong analytical and reporting skills to support the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process. Proficient in managing market trends and demand drivers while ensuring accuracy in forecasts and reports.
