Carrier Account Executive - SG Pod

The Carrier Account Executive reports to a Sr. Carrier Account Director and plays a vital role in supporting the sourcing and development of carrier relationships. This position is focused on tactical execution-working, working closely with internal teams to ensure timely booking, carrier vetting, tracking compliance, and maintaining cost-effective transportation solutions. The Carrier Account Executive also assists with communication and day-to-day operational tasks, supporting the team’s assigned carrier book of business.

This is a non-exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is overtime eligible.

• Support Carrier Account Managers and Directors by identifying and sourcing qualified carriers for available freight opportunities.
• Assist in executing carrier compliance checks and vetting procedures.
• Maintain strong communication with carriers to ensure load visibility and timely tracking updates.
• Perform data entry, reporting, and carrier updates within the TMS.
• Assist with coverage of urgent, assigned shipments.
• Coordinate with internal operations, logistics, and tracking teams to resolve carrier-related issues.
• Proactively flag service issues, support escalation and issue resolution.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; previous sales or customer service experience desirable.
• Logistics industry knowledge preferred.
• Proven track record of successful customer support in a fast-paced environment.

• Clear and professional communication (verbal and written).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, responsive, and adaptable under pressure.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with urgency and accuracy.
• Collaborative team mindset with a problem-solving orientation
