Maintenance Technician - Onnix Tempe

Overview

Maintenance Technician - Onnix Tempe role at Western Wealth Communities. The position is focused on maintaining the physical aspects, cleanliness, safety, and appearance of the property, while ensuring safety and company standards are met. The role requires a team player who takes pride in their work and provides residents with strong customer service as a jack of all trades with knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, appliance repair, and electrical.

The position reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.

• Prepares market-ready apartments, which may include painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, general repairs, housekeeping duties, and any necessary duties to provide residents with a quality move-in experience.
• Responds to resident requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Has knowledge of maintenance functions such as plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, general carpentry, and painting.
• Maintains grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities to keep them clean, operational, and safe for residents.
• Reports maintenance concerns on vacant units, models, and common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Performs inspections by walking the property.
• Performs maintenance as scheduled by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Maintains knowledge of state, local, and federal fair housing laws.
• Attends and participates in training and safety programs as required by WWC.
• Performs duties as assigned in a timely manner and delivers superior customer service.
• Dresses per WWC appearance standards.
• Maintains and safeguards all company tools and equipment.
• Must be willing to work evenings or weekends (on call) in case of an emergency.
• Performs any other related duties as required or assigned.
