Janitorial Crew Member – KBS - Kellermeyer Bergensons Services, LLC

Full-time position. Pay range: $16.55 per hour (based on skills and experience).

Work schedule:

Days and nights, including weekends.

• Clean and maintain building floor surfaces (sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, degumming, spot cleaning).
• Clean furniture, walls, glass, mirrors, fixtures, machines and other equipment.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Service, clean and supply restrooms.
• Move furniture, light fixtures or other items manually or with hand truck as required.
• Extract carpet (small jobs) as needed.
• Use all equipment properly.
• Clean and maintain cleaning equipment per instructions.
• Prepare cleaning solutions (water, detergents and other chemicals) according to specifications.
• Monitor and report facility issues requiring repairs (notify Lead, Site or Zone Manager).
• Monitor building security and safety (lock doors after operating hours and ensure electrical appliances are turned off, etc.).
• Properly stack and replace cleaning items and tools.
• Ensure supplies are available for each shift.
• Report supply requisition needs to Lead or Manager.

• Experience in building and warehouse cleaning work.
• Ability to carry out detailed oral or written instructions.
• Strong communication skills to relate to officials, staff and public in a courteous manner.
• Disposition to perform other duties as assigned.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and safety‑handling sheets for chemicals (generally in English; may also be Spanish when required).
