Job SummaryThe Senior Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in the strategic planning, execution, and oversight of the new Tempe office. The role requires a blend of strategic vision and operational expertise, with responsibilities including establishing, staffing, managing, and driving sales growth for the office. The ideal candidate is a seasoned operator with deep insurance industry experience, proven leadership, and a track record of effectively managing both remote and onsite teams.
PrincipalDuties and Responsibilities
- Operate daily business functions to successfully open and run the new office.
- Build, develop, and lead a team of sales managers, sales coaches, and trainers, fostering a strong leadership culture aligned with corporate goals.
- Drive sales performance through performance‑management strategies, regular call monitoring, and reinforcement to exceed targets.
- Effectively manage and motivate remote teams, ensuring consistent communication and performance tracking.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners, ensuring alignment on strategic objectives.
- Implement performance‑management processes, including call monitoring and coaching, for continuous improvement.
- Proven operational expertise in establishing and running new business offices.
- Strong leadership experience managing teams of managers, coaches, and trainers.
- Demonstrated remote‑team management skills, with a focus on sales achievement and high performance.
- Expertise in performance management, call monitoring, coaching, and feedback.
- Ability to build and nurture relationships with corporate stakeholders and team members.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
- Relevant certifications in insurance, sales management, or leadership are a plus.
