Fleet Maintenance Manager
Fleet Manager
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the vehicle fleet program, which may include the acquisition, assignment, maintenance and inventory of the vehicles. Establishes and maintains strong partnership with internal business units and external vendors.
Ensures accurate record of vehicle inventory, drivers and insurance. Updates, maintains and audits fleet tracking system.
Partners with business units to plan for and coordinate vehicle assignments. Supports the orientation of drivers and communication of safety and maintenance policy.
Administers lease management. Plans and coordinates vehicle assignments based on demand and availability.
Supports insurance administration, including acting as liaison between insurance companies and employees. Ensures proper reporting of incident/accident and/or damages.
Ensures compliance to all company policies and procedures, as well as State and Federal regulations.
Builds strong working relationships with vendors and service providers. Negotiates expedited dates and prices, manages invoice discrepancies and adherence to contracts.
Processes, tracks, reports and audits fleet expenses.
Plans, develops and executes vehicle replacement schedules while overseeing repairs and maintenance operations.
Conducts research and analysis including budget, cost management, replacement schedules and compliance reporting.
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent training and experience
5 years of relevant experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task between a variety of job responsibilities
Proficient knowledge of MS Office applications
Strong customer service skills
Excellent procurement and negotiation skills
Basic understanding of budgeting and accounting
