Amazon’s Selling Partner Trust and Store Integrity (TSI) creates a trustworthy shopping experience by protecting customers, brands, selling partners, vendors, and Amazon from fraud, counterfeit, and abuse while maintaining world‑class support. The Selling Partner Identity Verification (SPIV) team safeguards Amazon’s worldwide stores by developing projects and programs that detect abuse early and address root causes to prevent future incidents. This role requires a fast‑moving, entrepreneurial leader who can solve complex problems and drive quantitative improvements across a global, cross‑functional organization.
Keyresponsibilities
- Lead a high‑performing risk team, prioritizing high‑impact investigative leads that drive down business impact metrics.
- Work within a sprint process to prioritize work and deliver results consistently.
- Own the end‑to‑end investigation flywheel, intake high‑quality leads from multiple sources, and produce detailed investigation briefs for partner teams to drive scalable detection and solutions.
- Manage a team with broad expertise in abuse and fraud to conduct deep dives and derive actionable insights into tactics used on Amazon’s worldwide stores.
- Use high‑level judgment to make complex enforcement decisions, weighing downstream impact and trade‑offs.
- Develop goals, KPIs, and metrics to track investigation health, progress, and impact; communicate challenges, progress, and success to business and senior leadership.
- Provide feedback to partner teams and intake sources to improve the quality of leads and investigation outputs.
- Break down problems into manageable pieces, ruthlessly prioritize, and deliver results in ambiguous environments.
The team solves hard puzzles and identifies opportunities that have not yet been discovered, using data and a persistent, curious mindset.
Basic qualifications- 7+ years of conducting workplace risk investigations.
- Experience with technology to drive process improvements.
- Experience managing direct reports.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 7+ years of customer‑facing experience.
- CPA, CMA, CISA, CIA, or equivalent risk, audit, or compliance credentials.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
- Experience with physical security control and surveillance systems.
- Master's degree or equivalent.

Base salary range: $133,300 – $180,300 annually (USA, AZ, Tempe).
