firstPRO 360 is assisting our client in seeking an experienced Regional Director of Clinic Operations in AZ/NM to oversee the operational performance of multiple outpatient clinic locations throughout the region. Reporting to the Vice President of Clinic Operations, this leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, developing high-performing clinic teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting continued organizational growth.
The ideal candidate is a strategic, hands-on leader with a proven background managing multi-site healthcare operations and partnering with physicians and executive leadership to improve performance, patient satisfaction, and financial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide operational leadership and oversight for multiple outpatient clinic locations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop Clinic Managers and their teams to achieve operational excellence.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels to support patient care, clinic efficiency, and business objectives.
- Monitor key performance indicators, financial metrics, patient satisfaction scores, and operational benchmarks while implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner closely with physicians, providers, and executive leadership to achieve organizational goals and drive business performance.
- Promote an exceptional patient experience by optimizing clinic workflows and service standards.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, infection control standards, quality initiatives, and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with Human Resources on employee performance management, coaching, disciplinary actions, and leadership development.
- Lead operational projects and support new clinic openings, acquisitions, integrations, and other strategic initiatives.
- Travel throughout the assigned region (up to 60%) to support clinic operations and leadership teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Minimum of five years of progressive healthcare operations leadership experience.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple outpatient clinic locations.
- Strong leadership, financial management, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 60% throughout the assigned region.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and healthcare technology platforms.
- Master's degree (MBA, MHA, MSN, or related field).
- Experience with in orthopedic, spine, musculoskeletal, or other specialty physician practices.
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Proven ability to lead organizational growth, operational improvements, and change management initiatives.
