Job Summary

The District Director for Workforce and Economic Development provides strategic leadership for a district-wide portfolio of workforce programs, industry partnerships, and community engagement initiatives designed to strengthen the regional talent pipeline and support economic growth. This position translates executive direction and District priorities into workforce strategies, operational plans, and service delivery models that connect education and training opportunities with high-demand careers and evolving labor market needs.

The District Director leads the planning, implementation, and evaluation of workforce and economic development initiatives; oversees program resources, budgets, grants, and compliance requirements; and uses labor market data and industry trends to inform strategy and program development.
