Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership- Lead the end-to-end performance of complex Mutual Fund Operations functions, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant execution of daily operational activities.
- Oversee a broad portfolio of processes including trade corrections, trade rejects, PAC/SWP administration, omnibus processing, off-book account support, reconciliations, fund facts processing and delivery, and large-scale operational initiatives.
- Ensure achievement of service level objectives while balancing risk mitigation, regulatory requirements, and client experience expectations.
- Monitor operational performance metrics and implement action plans to improve productivity, quality, and service delivery.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development for a team of up to 15 associates, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
- Drive talent development through ongoing coaching, performance management, succession planning, and career development initiatives.
- Empower team members and frontline leaders to make informed decisions while maintaining appropriate controls and escalation practices.
- Lead modernization efforts by identifying operational inefficiencies, process gaps, and technology opportunities that improve workflow effectiveness and scalability.
- Champion automation, process optimization, and operational excellence initiatives that enhance control environments and improve client outcomes.
- Utilize data analytics and operational insights to support informed decision-making and drive measurable business results.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate operational, financial, regulatory, and client service risks across multiple systems, functions, and processes.
- Maintain a strong control environment while ensuring adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Exercise sound judgment in managing complex, non-routine situations with significant business, client, or financial implications.
- Develop effective partnerships with Risk, Compliance, Technology, Internal Audit, External Audit, fund companies, and operational business partners to achieve enterprise-wide objectives.
- Strengthen oversight of external vendors and fund company relationships, ensuring service quality, performance standards, and compliance expectations are consistently met.
- Represent Mutual Fund Operations in enterprise initiatives, strategic projects, and industry discussions as required.
