The Program Manager at the Tempe campus plays a key role in creating, coordinating and continuously improving campus visit and recruitment experiences for prospective students, families and groups. As a member of the Recruitment Events & Campus Visits team, this position provides leadership for the Tempe campus visit experience and the Devils’ Advocates Student Leadership program. The Program Manager works collaboratively with Admission Services leadership, academic units, university partners, student leaders and campus stakeholders to deliver welcoming, engaging and personalized experiences that support student recruitment and enrollment goals.

Based at t he Tempe campus, the Program Manager is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and execution of assigned campus visit programs, including Sun Devil Day, referral visits and group visits. This position takes ownership of the visitor experience from planning through execution and assessment, ensuring programs are well-organized, aligned with REC and Admission Services priorities, and responsive to the needs and expectations of prospective students and their families.

The Program Manager is expected to identify opportunities to enhance the campus visit experience through data, visitor feedback, emerging trends and collaboration with campus partners. This position requires a highly organized, solution-oriented professional who is comfortable making decisions, managing competing priorities, solving problems in real time and taking ownership of the recruitment experience. Serves as the supervisor for the Devils’ Advocates Admission Services Student Leadership program at the Tempe campus, and supports the training, professional development, membership growth and retention plans for the student program.

Creates engaging experiences with student workers and creates connections as a mentor.

Coordinate and execute campus visits and recruitment events at the Tempe campus, including Sun Devil Day, Transfer Day, and other assigned programs.

Coordinate, monitor or supervise the activities of subordinates, both student staff and professional staff.
