About The Position

The Extraction Packaging Associate is responsible for accurately and efficiently weighing, labeling, and packaging cannabis products in compliance with company standards and state regulations. This role requires attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment. The Extraction Packaging Associate plays a critical role in maintaining product integrity, meeting production quotas, and ensuring compliance with all safety and quality control procedures.

Job Duties And Responsibilities - Production Staff
  • Weigh, fill, seal, and label cannabis products according to company SOPs and regulatory requirements
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure all packaged products meet established standards for weight, appearance, and labeling
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to uphold product safety and cleanliness standards
  • Accurately complete personal production numbers
  • Comply with all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and sanitation procedures
  • Assist with setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting of packaging equipment
  • Support team efforts to meet daily packaging targets
  • Notify supervisor of any inconsistencies, product quality issues, or equipment malfunctions
  • Follow all state and company regulations regarding cannabis handling
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Packaging Manager or Lead
Required Skills & Abilities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work efficiently in a repetitive task environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic math skills and ability to use digital scales and packaging tools

    Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing production needs or shifts
  • Understanding of basic hygiene and product handling protocols
Additional Qualifications (Preferred)
  • Experience in the cannabis industry (formal or informal)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Cannabis-related education
Job Type

40 hours per week, 8 hour shifts, Monday - Friday

Pay Rate

From $16.50 per hour

Work Location

In person

Criminal background check will be performed; most marijuana-related crimes will not negatively impact an application.
