Talascend is currently seeking an Assembler for a contract opportunity with our client in Tempe, Arizona
.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling fabricated parts at floor stations, testing and calibrating parts and mechanisms, and ensuring that all products meet specified tolerances and standards.
Responsibilities- Assemble units using hand tools and power tools according to product specifications.
- Follow detailed instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform assembly tasks.
- Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to ensure they meet tolerances and product specifications.
- Identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and perform necessary repairs.
- Maintain high standards of quality in all assembly tasks.
- Document any issues or discrepancies and report them to the supervisor.
- Work under immediate supervision and report to a supervisor or manager.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and accurate assembly processes.
- 0-2 years of experience in assembly or a related field.
- May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in the area of specialty.
- Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
- Ability to follow instructions and work under immediate supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to lift and move parts and assemblies as needed.
Day shift Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm
