Production Technician (Battery Dept)
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our aerospace manufacturing team. This role focuses on the assembly and quality inspection of custom battery systems for military and commercial aircraft.
Compensation & Schedule
- Base Pay: $20.00 - $22.50 / hour + 10% shift differential
- Standard Hours: Monday - Friday | 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
- Perform electromechanical assembly, including soldering and component placement.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Use hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches) to build products to specification.
- Collaborate with supervisors to streamline production and ensure on-time delivery.
- Support quality standards and continuous improvement programs (Lean/Six Sigma).
- Experience: 6 months of soldering or electromechanical assembly experience (or completion of a soldering training class). On-the-job training may be substituted for the right candidate.
- Technical Skills: Ability to use standard hand tools and read technical drawings.
- Physical: Ability to lift/move up to 30 lbs and perform manual dexterity tasks.
