Packaging Line Worker
As a Packaging Line Worker, you will be responsible for stocking and sorting products and packaging supplies such as film, boxes, lids, bottles, ink, and labels. You will measure and examine materials and finished products to ensure they meet established standards. Additionally, you will inspect lot numbers, expiration dates, and other specifications before packaging. Your role will involve placing materials into containers, cartons, and boxes, sealing them using hands, fasteners, tape, and hand tools, and removing any damaged or inferior materials or packing supplies.
Transferring materials, supplies, and products between work areas is also a key responsibility. Cleaning and sterilizing equipment and tools as specified, providing information or indicating problems to Management or Quality Assurance, and performing duties safely are essential aspects of this role. You will report to work regularly and on time, and assist in other duties as needed and directed.
- Stock and sort products and packaging supplies.
- Measure and examine materials and finished products for quality conformance.
- Inspect lot numbers, expiration dates, and other specifications before packaging.
- Place materials into containers, cartons, and boxes.
- Seal containers or boxes using hands, fasteners, tape, and hand tools.
- Remove damaged or inferior materials or packing supplies.
- Transfer materials, supplies, and products between work areas.
- Clean and sterilize equipment and tools as specified.
- Provide information or indicate problems to Management or Quality Assurance.
- Report to work regularly and on time.
- Perform duties safely and report unsafe conditions or actions.
- Assist in other duties as needed and directed.
- Warehouse packing experience

Skills & Qualifications
- Skilled in monitoring for quality
- Demonstrate attention to detail and problem sensitivity
- Knowledge of food production processing
- Ability to work well with others
Pay range: $17.50 per hour.

Work EnvironmentYou will be regularly exposed to noise and airborne particles, including some allergens. Duties must be completed within an allotted time which may create a sense of time pressure to meet deadlines. The work is performed during the 2nd shift from 3:45 pm to 2:15 am.
