Job Description
$21.70 per hour, bonus eligible.
Shift- Monday - Thursday
- 6:00 am – 4:00 pm
- Overtime as production needs arise.

RoleSummary
Packaging Operators are the last line of defense in ensuring we are sending out quality beer to our amazing customers. Safety first, quality always, then volume.
Job Responsibilities- Package various styles of beer on site (kegging, bottling, or canning).
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment throughout the brewery.
- Ensure Four Peaks’ quality and safety standards are met.
- Use the forklift responsibly and efficiently (forklift training is required and can be administered on‑site).
- Meet the daily required amount of beer in kegs, bottles, or cans, adhering to the predetermined packaging schedule.
- Adhere to the packaging schedule daily to prepare for that day and the next day’s units. Communicate with brewers and logistics to prioritize which beer to package.
- Accurately record the amount of beer packaged in necessary logs.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for packaging lines.
- Work in a fast‑paced environment while remaining precise in daily tasks.
- Be safety‑mindful in all aspects of the job and report any possible unsafe conditions immediately to a supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
- Lift and clean kegs before refilling them with product (if applicable).
- Ensure kegs are functional and usable; report any damaged kegs to a supervisor and tag unusable ones.
- Use and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE); report any need for replacement to supervisor.
- Report any hazards that occur with respect to bottling, kegging, or canning lines immediately. Do NOT remove safety guards or perform unsafe tasks while operating equipment.
- Inspect all final packaged items to ensure they meet specifications.
- Stamp all packaged items with a "lot number" (e.g., Julian date).
- Inspect and remove any items that appear defective or low‑filled and document that number when logging packaged goods.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 21 years of age or older.
- General knowledge of brewing technology and equipment.
- Knowledge of brewing processes and techniques.
- Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Flexibility to work all required shifts.
- Works under general supervision with detailed instruction.
