About the Role

Are you a detail-oriented technician with a strong background in metal fabrication? We are seeking a skilled Brazing & Soldering Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will assemble fabricated metal parts using torches, induction heating equipment, and soldering irons.

Responsibilities
  • Perform standard brazing and soldering on components to assemble fabricated metal parts.
  • Utilize soldering irons, torches, and induction heating equipment daily.
  • Read blueprints and follow detailed, step-by-step work instructions.
  • Prepare materials by sizing, cleaning, buffing, and deburring tubes and parts.
  • Manufacture braze rings and perform quality checks on braze joints for pinholes and incomplete fillets.
  • Use precision measuring tools like micrometers and calipers (with guidance).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Qualifications
  • Experience:

    Minimum of 2 years of proven torch and brazing experience (Required).
  • Education:

    High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Basic knowledge of brazing equipment, tools, and basic measuring instruments.
  • Certifications:

    Must be able to obtain all applicable company/job certifications upon hire.
  • Mindset: A strong commitment to quality, a team-player attitude, and a willingness to strictly follow safety protocols.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • Ability to stand and remain physically active for extended periods (6 to 8 hours per shift).
  • Frequent manual dexterity to handle tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Ability to reach, stretch, bend, and lift materials up to approximately 3 feet.
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic manufacturing warehouse setting with moving mechanical parts, varying noise levels, and seasonal temperature fluctuations.
  • Willingness to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.
