We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our dynamic team in Tempe, Arizona. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our manufacturing process by assembling various components with precision and care. Your expertise, mechanical dexterity, and ability to interpret assembly work instructions will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering exceptional customer experiences through high-quality production.
DUTIES:
- Assemble mechanical components according to specifications and schematics with the aid of small power tools.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers for quality assurance.
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate assembly.
- Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure compliance with standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of on the job training/experience
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Assembler or similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers).
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and assembly techniques
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Able to learn and become proficient in the use of an ERP system and other databases
- Strong verbal, written and listening communication skills - ability to clearly and concisely convey information in a timely and accurate manner
- Excellent organizational skills - ability to multitask and effectively prioritize and perform tasks efficiently
- Self-directed and can work with internal and external stakeholders to achieve results in a fast paced environment
- Available to work rotating shifts (days, afternoons, midnights)
- Available for periodic overtime
- Regularly standing for long periods of time
- Regularly lifting and handling loads less than 10 pounds and occasionally lifting 25 pounds
- Occasional bending and squatting
- Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
