We are seeking a Manufacturing Process Technician to support manufacturing process development, equipment implementation, and production readiness activities within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This role will work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to support new product introductions, process improvements, equipment validation, and ongoing production support.
The ideal candidate is a hands‑on manufacturing professional with experience troubleshooting production processes, supporting equipment installations, maintaining technical documentation, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support for the development, implementation, and sustainment of manufacturing and inspection processes.
- Assist with new product introductions and process transfers into production.
- Support equipment installation, qualification, validation, and startup activities.
- Monitor manufacturing operations to ensure compliance with approved procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Investigate process deviations, production issues, and nonconformances; perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Support process optimization efforts focused on improving quality, efficiency, throughput, and cost.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams on process development and manufacturing improvements.
- Assist with process validation activities, including testing, data collection, and documentation.
- Support execution of engineering change orders (ECOs) and implementation of process updates.
- Create, revise, and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and production records.
- Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve operational performance using continuous improvement methodologies.
- Support production readiness activities during new process implementations and product launches.
- Assist with training production personnel on new equipment, processes, and procedures.
- Communicate technical findings, project updates, and process performance information to cross‑functional teams.
- Maintain compliance with quality systems, safety standards, and applicable manufacturing regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, engineering technician, process technician, or related technical role.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
- Associate degree in a technical, engineering, manufacturing, or related discipline.
- Experience supporting manufacturing process development and process improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of equipment qualification and validation activities.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience using standard inspection and measurement equipment.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience working in regulated manufacturing environments such as medical device, aerospace, pharmaceutical, electronics, or similar industries.
