Production Expeditor​/Outside Services Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Production Control Expeditor/Outside Services Specialist to help keep our aerospace manufacturing operations running smoothly.

• Plan, organize, and prioritize workflow across departments to support on‑time production and delivery commitments.
• Track job progress, analyze schedule impacts, and communicate status updates and completion timelines to supervisors and stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve material, capacity, or scheduling issues through timely problem‑solving and sound judgment.
• Organize daily shop priorities and generate accurate foreman reports to support production execution.
• Coordinate and expedite the movement of parts between departments and buildings to maintain production flow.
• Interpret blueprints and work order travelers to identify parts, part numbers, and routing requirements.
• Serve as a key point of contact between production, planning, and support functions through clear and professional communication.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Experience working with MRP systems; visual manufacturing experience preferred.
• Demonstrated strengths in planning and organizing, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
• Proven dependability, attention to detail, and ability to make timely, well‑reasoned decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
