Harvest Technician

About the Job

The Harvest Technician executes the harvest and bucking processes, room cleaning, and defoliation. Ensures compliance with company procedures and product specifications. This is a temp-to-hire position.

• Execute bucking and harvesting processes. Assist in deleafing plants. Clean flower rooms post-harvest for replanting.
• Maintain clean and sanitary work areas.
• Work productively to achieve daily and weekly goals.
• Demonstrate teamwork, mutual respect, and open communication within the team and across functions.
• Adhere to SOPs.
• Adhere to KPI metrics to ensure timely material flow for the processing team.
• Maintain quality standards and conduct periodic QC checks of WIP material.

• Hardworking individuals with a mindset geared toward quality and efficiency when working with plant material.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced indoor farm environment under high intensity lighting and warm/humid conditions.
• Comfort with a fast-paced environment and changing requirements and tasks.
• Ability to adapt to different strains’ plant structure during various tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail, especially when pruning live plants and labeling strains.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Calm under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and diligently with minimal supervision.
• Commitment to maintaining high quality work standards in repetitive tasks.
• Safety and compliance-focused.
• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Experience in the cannabis or agricultural industry is preferred.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally without assistance or 100 lbs. with assistance.
• Regularly required to perform carrying, grasping, lifting, walking, standing, some bending/crouching, stooping, stretching, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods while maintaining focus.
• Able to be in varying temperature and humidity environmental conditions.
• Must not be allergic to or have a fear of insects.
