Industrial Painter​/Blaster

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking an Industrial Painter / Coatings Technician for our client, an industrial coatings company, in Tempe, AZ. This role supports coating and surface preparation work for industrial components and equipment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, reliable, and experienced with industrial painting methods and surface prep in a shop environment.

Pay: $26–$28/hour DOE

Shift: Day Shift, 5:00 AM start

• Perform industrial coating applications including spraying, brushing, and rolling
• Prepare surfaces through sanding, cleaning, and sandblasting as required
• Apply coatings such as DTM, epoxy, and other industrial finishes
• Mask and protect surfaces prior to coating applications
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and proper coverage
• Maintain tools, spray equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements when handling coatings and equipment
• Support occasional field work as needed (approximately 10%)

• Experience with industrial painting, coatings, or surface preparation
• Experience with spray application, masking, and sandblasting
• Familiarity with DTM, epoxy, or similar industrial coatings
• Strong attention to detail and quality of work
• Ability to work in a shop environment with occasional field work
• Ability to lift, stand, and perform physical work throughout the shift

• Experience working in industrial, manufacturing, or coatings environments
• Experience with sandblasting or surface prep equipment
• Familiarity with coating specifications or application standards

This role operates primarily in a shop environment (approximately 90%) with occasional field work. Work includes exposure to industrial coatings, equipment, and shop conditions. PPE and safety compliance are required at all times.
