A health nutrition distribution warehouse in Tempe is HIRING for Batch technicians on 1st and 2nd shift.
Are you interested in working a condensed work week? They are offering 4 day work weeks with 10hr schedules for both 1st and 2nd shifts.
- 1st Shift – $16.50/hr
- Schedule – Mon–Thurs 5am‑3:30pm
- 2nd Shift – $17.50/hr
- Schedule – Mon–Thurs 3:45pm‑2:15am
Job Description:
i. Stock and sort product and packaging supplies such, film, boxes, lids, bottles, ink, labels, etc.
ii. Measure and examine materials and finished products to ensure conformance to established standards.
iii. Inspect lot numbers, expiration dates, and other specifications before packaging.
iv. Place materials into containers, cartons and boxes.
v. Seal containers or boxes using hands, fasteners, tape, and hand tools.
vi. Remove damaged or otherwise inferior materials or packing supplies.
vii. Transfer materials, supplies, and products between work areas.
viii. Clean and sterilize the equipment and tools as specified.
ix. Provide information or indication of problems to Management or Quality Assurance.
x. Reports to work regularly and on time.
xi. Perform duties safely and to report unsafe conditions or actions.
xii. Assists in other duties as needed and directed.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
i. Skilled in monitoring for quality.
ii. Demonstrate attention to detail and problem sensitivity.
iii. Knowledge of food production processing.
iv. Work well with others.
v. Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
i. Must occasionally lift 25 lbs. or move up to 100 lbs. using pallet jacks.
ii. Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and arms, and occasionally to pull.
iii. Specific sensing abilities required by this job include near vision and manual dexterity.
