First United Door Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Inventory Specialist to support our production and warehouse operations in Tempe, Arizona. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, availability, and organization of materials used in the manufacturing of garage door components.

The Manufacturing Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels across raw materials, components, and finished goods within the facility. This role coordinates closely with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams to ensure materials are available to support daily manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, components, and finished goods
- Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure system accuracy
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Track material usage and support production planning needs
- Ensure inventory locations are properly labeled and organized
- Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, and production teams to maintain appropriate stock levels
- Receive and verify materials against purchase orders and packing slips
- Monitor inventory levels and notify purchasing when replenishment is needed
- Support continuous improvement efforts to improve inventory control processes
- Maintain accurate data within the company’s ERP or inventory management system
- Assist with production material staging and inventory transfers between locations
- Follow all company safety policies and warehouse procedures
- 2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse, or manufacturing inventory management
- Experience working in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Must be able to commute to Tempe, AZ, Travel 5% - 10% outside of the state on a quarterly cadence
- Experience with ERP or inventory management systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic computer systems
- Ability to analyze discrepancies and resolve inventory issues
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs - Forklift experience preferred (or willingness to be trained)
- Manufacturing inventory management
- Cycle counting programs
- ERP systems such as Net Suite, SAP, Epicor, or similar
- Experience supporting production operations
