Job Overview:

Requirement/Must Have:

• Ability to wear required PPE to fulfill shift duties: smock, hairnet, gloves, facemask, and safety glasses.
• Use hand tools, spot welders, microscopes, and other manufacturing equipment to assemble products using detailed documented procedures.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and drawings for accuracy and quality.
• Perform visual checks of product to assure quality.
• Identify non-conforming parts following documented procedures.
• Meet manufacturing output requirements while producing high quality products.
• Ability to work alone and with others in a team environment under minimal supervision to accomplish department goals.
• Must have strong problem solving, analytical skills, adaptability, and flexibility.
• Must have good computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry, email).
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read drawings/blueprints/work instructions.

Responsibilities:

• Tube Assembly Assemblers perform day to day production activities by using most current procedures in order to maintain production schedules.

Nice to Have:

• Related manufacturing work experience: 1-3 years.
• Ability to hold a Security Clearance a plus.

Skills:

• Good hand/eye coordination.
• Read drawings/blueprints/work instructions.
• Demonstrated problem solving techniques.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Ability to become familiar with SPC (Statistical Process Control).

Qualification And

Education:

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 1-3 years of prior manufacturing related experience.
• Good hand/eye coordination.
• Ability to lift 3-5 lbs. and complete repeat tasks.
• Ability to sit for long periods of time.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Good historical attendance record with minimal unscheduled call offs.
• Self-driven to complete goals and tasks as required.
• Work 12-hour, compressed work week schedule with flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Must have strong problem solving and analytical skills, adaptability and flexibility.
