As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be engaged in performing repairs and troubleshooting on aircraft captain chairs and seating parts. You will work in a dedicated repair section, handling A320 pilot seats, and contribute to ensuring the highest standards of safety and functionality.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and troubleshooting on aircraft captain chairs and seating parts.
- Work in the repair section focusing on seat assembly.
- Operate in a dedicated environment handling A320 pilot seats.
- Demonstrate strong mechanical skills in the assembly process.
Essential Skills
- 1-2 years of mechanical experience.
- Strong mechanical history.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Proficiency in electrical and bench technician techniques.
- Experience with troubleshooting using oscilloscopes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Preferred aviation experience.
- Ability to possess personal basic hand tools.
- Capability to submit to FAA Drug Test.

Work Environment
Work in an air-conditioned repair station set up like a back shop or 'cell' environment. The position requires independent work after adequate training, with a first shift schedule from 7:15 am to 4:00 pm. Overtime is available as needed.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, AZ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
