Assembler - Tempe, AZ -1st shift Production or Manufacturing

Assembler needed for a contract opportunity with SOC's client to work onsite in Tempe, AZ.

Contract Length: 12 months, possibility to convert to client FTE.

• Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms and documents.
• Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on assembly units.
• Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.

• HS Diploma/GED
• Good hand/eye coordination; manual dexterity is required as will be working with glass product
• Read drawings/blueprints/work instruction
• Ability to clearly read, write, and understand English (required)
• Close attention to detail and quality
• J-STD soldering exp

• Microscope experience
• Soldering experience
• Experience handling small products/microchips
• Working knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical measuring equipment and quality control terminology (preferred)
• Related manufacturing work experience (including soldering and high-volume production); soldering certification preferred

The following requirements must be met to be eligible for this position: successful completion of a background investigation and drug urinalysis.
