Job Description
SVS Group is currently hiring a 2nd shift Hydroform Machine Operator in the west Phoenix area. Our client is in the Aerospace industry.
Summary: Operates hydro-form equipment to create forms from metal sheets, plates, strips, or bars, by following router instructions.
Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following; other duties may be assigned.
- Aligns work piece on machine.
- Lubricates parts in accordance with work instructions.
- Operates hydro-form to perform desired operation.
- Observes pressure gauges and height settings to ensure properly set and that hydroform is running in accordance with setting.
- Dimensionally and visually inspects parts to ensure they meet customer's requirements.
- Keep work area clean at all times following 5S methods.
- Performs required preventative maintenance procedures on assigned presses within specified time frames.
- Ensure that all preventative maintenance is performed in accordance with PM schedule.
Education and Experience: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- High School Diploma or GED; 0-2 years of demonstrated experience for Level 1 Hydroform Operator, 2-5 years of demonstrated experience for Level 2 Hydroform Operator, 5 or more years of demonstrated experience for Level 3 Hydroform Operator.
