Overview
The CNC Programmer Machinist is capable of significant contribution and has a history of successful project completion. Plans, lays out and builds a variety of prototype and production parts. Exhibits comprehensive knowledge of the policies, procedures, and practices critical to the delivery of successful results at Hillman.
Essential Job Functions- Sets up and programs CNC milling machines using CAMWorks or Solidworks CAM
- Develops and fabricates prototypes for new products, product builds and engineering improvements using a wide range of materials.
- Supports manufacturing by producing, reworking, and modifying products.
- Ability to fabricate prototypes with and without engineering drawings.
- Participates and engages during brainstorming sessions.
- Is familiar of a variety of manufacturing/production processes.
- Proven ability to be successful in both a team and self-directed environment.

Education & Experience- High School Diploma
- 5 years of experience with set up and programming of CNC milling machines using CAMWorks or Solidworks CAM
Skills And Abilities
- Set up and programming of CNC milling machines using CAMWorks or Solidworks CAM
- Uses CNC milling machines, power saws, hand tools etc. to perform work
Quality Control Fast-paced, standing on concrete floors up to 8 hrs/day. Exposure to loud noise. Functional vision and hearing required.
Physical Demands
Packaging - Key Light-Medium, lifting up to 50 lbs.
