Electrical Designer

Overview

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Electrical Designer to work on projects for advanced manufacturing facilities such as semiconductor plants. The role involves computer‑aided drafting and design of electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems using AutoCAD and Revit MEP.

• Prepare electrical layouts, sketches and 2D/3D models for advanced facilities.
• Coordinate complex electrical packages with engineers and design leads.
• Develop staffing plans and manage project schedules.
• Mentor junior designers and provide guidance to drafters.
• Ensure designs meet client expectations, budget, and schedule requirements.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of electrical design experience.
• At least 2 years of Revit design experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.

• Associate’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with NEC and electrical design requirements.
• At least 2 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience.

Base salary range: $71,000.00 to $97,600.00, paid hourly based on hours worked. Pay is determined by location, skills, experience, and education.
