Sportex Safety is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Direct-to-Film Printer Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining DTF printing equipment, preparing artwork for production, ensuring print quality, and helping complete customer orders accurately and on time. Advancement is expected by learning cross department workflows/Production related to Direct to Film.

• Operate direct-to-film printing equipment, powder shaker, curing equipment, and heat press as needed
• Prepare, load, and print artwork files according to production requirements
• Inspect prints for color accuracy, alignment, quality, and defects
• Weed, trim, organize, and stage transfers for production or shipping
• Maintain printers, printheads, inks, film, powder, and other supplies
• Perform routine cleaning and troubleshooting on DTF equipment
• Follow job tickets, order details, and production schedules
• Keep the print area clean, organized, and safe
• Communicate equipment issues, material shortages, or production concerns to management
• Assist with other warehouse or production tasks as needed
• Willing to learn Laser engraving and embroidery production in order to see through entire workflows

• Experience with DTF, screen printing, heat press, embroidery, vinyl, or other apparel decoration preferred
• Ability to follow written instructions and job specifications accurately
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Comfortable standing for long periods and working in a production environment
• Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs. when needed
• Willingness to learn equipment maintenance and production workflow

• RIP software experience
• Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or similar design software
• Apparel decoration or custom printing experience
• Heat press operation

• Saturday 7am – 3:30pm
• Sunday 7am – 3:30pm
