Production Associate - 1st Shift

Responsible for production work orders specific to their product line and/or work cell assignment. Responsible for knowing, following, and not deviating from the appropriate procedures assigned to their product line and/or work cell. Must have ability to show proficiency in their assigned area by having approved competencies. Must also have the ability to work in a team environment and have attention to detail.

• Completes repetitive tasks and follows procedures along with written and verbal instructions
• Meets goals as defined within Stryker key success factors of Quality First, Customer Experience, Innovation, People Development, and Financial Results
• Responsible for participating in continuous improvement, 5S, daily/weekly cleaning and providing suggestions or ideas
• Responsible for personal production output and maintaining production logs as needed or working with team to achieve team production targets
• Responsible for personal training, understanding procedures and accurately following all procedures, policies and Good Manufacturing practices
• Responsible for successfully completing and maintaining competencies for all stations required to work.

• Preferred Prior manufacturing/production or similar relevant experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic writing and computer skills
• Exposure to a medically controlled environment, subject to interruptions, subject to changing conditions
• Physical Requirements Protective Personal Equipment required as indicated by area procedure
• Physical Requirements:
  
  prolonged standing, sitting, and/or walking. This position may also require: hands to finger motion, handling, or feeling objects, reaching with hands and arms, balance, stooping, kneeling, or crouching Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (seek assistance for greater amounts)
• $20.25/hr plus bonus potential and benefits.

• Remote – Role allows you to work the majority to 100% of time from an alternate workplace. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location.
• Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based.
• Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category.
• Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
