Job DescriptionFollow standard operation procedures and good manufacturing practices to perform various processes, potentially using small tools, to manufacture medical devices in a clean room environment.
Responsibilities- Accurately complete Device History Records and associated paperwork
- Assist with projects and qualifications concerning the process when needed
- Communicate effectively/positively with co-workers
- Enter batch information into database
- Utilize small hand tools and/or precision devices to aid in the manufacturing process
- Perform manufacturing operations with few errors (demonstrates high quality work)
- Flexibility to perform various operations throughout the shift
- Ability to act as trainer for other operators
- Ability to act as a subject matter expert for main manufacturing processes (as listed below)
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3 years of medical device manufacturing or operating experience required.
- Five years manufacturing experience preferred.
- Highly skilled in six main manufacturing processes preferred.
- Demonstrate excellence and leadership in at least three main manufacturing process (subject matter expert) preferred.
- Pad Printing
- Heat bonding
- UV Curing
- Laser welding
- Catheter inspection
- RF Welding
- HLH
- Vacuum lamination
- Balloon blowing
- Catheter annealing
- PVA spraying
- Split die lamination
- Dip coating
- Basic math and English skills, both written and verbal, are required
- Basic computer and software skills, such as Microsoft Word and Excel
