Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a seamstress or in a similar sewing role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in operating various sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret sewing patterns, technical drawings, and instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Basic knowledge of fabric types and garment construction.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Formal training or certification in sewing, tailoring, or garment construction.
• Experience working with industrial manufacturing standards and quality control processes.
• Familiarity with computerized sewing equipment or automated textile machinery.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.

Responsibilities:

• Operate industrial sewing machines and hand-sewing tools to assemble, alter, and repair garments and textile products according to specifications.
• Interpret and follow detailed patterns, blueprints, and technical instructions to ensure accurate construction of products.
• Inspect finished products for quality, making necessary adjustments or repairs to meet company standards.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to address any issues related to fit, fabric, or construction techniques.
• Maintain sewing equipment and work area to ensure safety and efficiency in daily operations.
