CNC Lathe Machinist​/Programmer

4 DAY WORK WEEK - NO EVENINGS OR WEEKENDS! PTO, $38-42 per hour/40 hours a week.

• Read and interpret drawings, specifications, GD&T, and customer requirements .
• Plan out the most efficient machining process.
• Determine the best work holding and tooling for each job.
• Set up and program Lathe.
• Perform First Article inspection of parts, make necessary changes, then operate the job to completion.
• Create and maintain set up notes, work instructions, and inspection reports.
• Deburr parts if necessary.
• Prepare parts for subsequent operations, or clean and package for delivery.

• Extensive experience with Mazak CNC lathes and bar feeders preferred
  .
• Strong understanding of CNC lathe tooling, work holding, speeds/feeds, and machining processes through a variety of metals and plastics.
• Ability to take a job from engineering drawing and raw material through setup, first article, and production with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to stand and operate machine for hours at a time.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints on a variety of part types.
• Ability to fill out inspection reports.

• Paid time off
• Monday - Thursday work week, 6 am - 4 pm.
• Overtime optional and available frequently.
