As a Strategic Sourcing Principal - Electronics Aerospace here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in driving the end-to-end cycle of FAR
15 proposals and subcontracts. You will be responsible for completing fair and reasonable price analyses, executing program-aligned subcontracts, and collaborating with key functions within and outside of ISC to support FAR
15 proposals and subcontracts.
You will report directly to our and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the company by ensuring the delivery of compliant FAR
15 packages to the US government, executing strategic long-term agreements with suppliers, and driving cost savings through effective negotiation and supplier management.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize costs, quality, and delivery performance
- Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to identify strategic suppliers and onboard them including those within the electronics distribution and broker channels
- Lead supplier negotiations and contract management to ensure favorable terms and conditions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier performance and supply chain efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives
- Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships to mitigate risks and ensure compliance
- 8+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or Finance
- Strong negotiation skills and processes
- Ability to independently lead multiple projects simultaneously
- Expertise in FAR
15 proposals and subcontract execution - Experience with DoD procurement life cycle and supplier management
- Experience working with electronics distributors and brokers
- Semiconductor supply chain experience, with direct engagement of distribution partners
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, or Technical discipline
- Experience with Federal Acquisitions Regulations and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations
- Experience with SAP or similar procurement systems preferred
- Procurement experience within aerospace technologies or similar industry
- Significant experience managing subcontracts (FFP, CP, CPIF, etc.) and negotiating terms and conditions
