CNC Machinist, Automation & Mechatronics Engineer
We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer for a direct hire opportunity in Tempe, AZ. This role is ideal for a hands‑on CNC professional with strong Haas programming and setup experience who enjoys a mix of programming, machine setup, troubleshooting, customer support, training, and technical collaboration.

The CNC Programmer will work closely with customers, Sales, and Service teams to support machine demonstrations, runoffs, technical training, and process improvements. Key Responsibilities- Program, set up, and optimize Haas CNC machines for customer applications, demonstrations, and production‑related needs.
- Develop CNC programs, tooling strategies, fixturing approaches, and machining processes to improve efficiency and part quality.
- Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, technical drawings, and specifications to support accurate machining outcomes.
- Troubleshoot CNC programming, setup, machine operation, and process issues remotely and at customer sites.
- Train customers on CNC machine operation, programming, setup procedures, and basic troubleshooting.
- Support customer runoffs, pre‑sales demonstrations, trade shows, technical events, and collaboration with Sales and Service teams.

- Program, set up, and optimize Haas CNC equipment for customer and technical support applications.
- Develop machining processes, tooling strategies, fixtures, and CNC programs.
- Support machine runoffs, demonstrations, troubleshooting, and customer training.
- Partner with Sales and Service teams to resolve technical customer needs.
- Experienced CNC professional, typically 6-10 years overall, with at least 3-5+ years of hands‑on Haas CNC programming and setup experience.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming, G-code, tooling, fixturing, machining processes, and machine setup.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings.
- Experience improving machining processes, reducing cycle times, and supporting efficient production methods.
- Familiarity with Statistical Process Control, CPK, and manufacturing quality standards.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer‑service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Comfortable providing technical training to customers and working directly with CNC machinery.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and project‑management skills.
- Proficiency with computers, software tools, and technical documentation.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally and out of state as needed.
- Comfortable working in office, manufacturing, and customer‑site environments, including standing for extended periods and working around CNC equipment.
- Experience supporting customer‑facing CNC applications, technical service, machine demonstrations, or training.
- Background working with Sales and Service teams in a manufacturing or CNC equipment environment.
- Experience supporting trade shows, customer runoffs, technical training events, or pre‑sales demonstrations.
