Brief Description
Vitalant is seeking a Lead Registered Nurse dedicated to making a positive difference. Your impact as a Lead Registered Nurse is vital. You will play a pivotal role in supporting Vitalant’s life‑saving mission by conducting advanced clinical procedures, which encompass therapeutic apheresis procedures including stem cell, granulocyte, and lymphocyte collections, all while operating under the supervision of a licensed physician.

- Provide excellent care to our patients.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions or equivalent expertise, (such as infusion, dialysis, or critical care).
- Work autonomously in various clinical settings.
- Coordinate with physicians and nurses from different hospitals for therapeutic treatments.
- Train clinical apheresis staff and assess performance of procedures.
- Utilize your clinical judgment to ensure appropriate and safe apheresis treatments.
- Act as a clinical consultant for patient treatment planning.
- Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Knowledge of rationale and techniques relating to assigned duties required.
- 2 years of previous hospital experience or related experience required.
- RN license in state of practice required.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
