Home Infusion Registered Nurse (PRN) – Tucson, AZ

Licensed Registered Nurses (RN) will provide patient home care, administering specialty medications, performing assessment, IV and port access, patient education, and ensuring pharmacy quality control and inventory management.

• Administer specialty medications via IV, subcutaneous injections, or other methods as prescribed.
• Monitor patients during the infusion process for any adverse reactions or complications.
• Assess patient medical history, allergies, current medications, and vital signs before, during, and after infusions.
• Educate patients and caregivers about medication, potential side effects, and post-infusion care.
• Continuously monitor patients for immediate reactions and schedule follow-up calls or visits to assess progress.
• Maintain accurate records of the infusion process, patient responses, adverse events, and education provided.
• Collaborate with nursing teams, pharmacists, and other pharmacy staff to coordinate treatment plans.
• Ensure proper preparation and handling of medications, adhering to safety standards.
• Verify correct medication and dosage for each patient.
• Adhere to sterile techniques and infection control guidelines during infusion procedures.
• Monitor medication stock levels and coordinate inventory management with the pharmacy team.
• Provide support for insurance verification or authorization processes related to specialty medications.
• For IgCN‑certified nurses, participate in the Immunoglobulin Mentorship Program, including mentoring, coaching, and training activities.

• College degree or certification required, or equivalent experience.
• RN license required.
• 3 years of nursing experience, including at least 2 years as an RN.
• 1 year of ER/ICU/Infusion experience preferred (critical thinking).
• 1 year experience accessing PIV lines, ports, and maintaining PICC lines.
• 1 year of infusion experience in a hospital or home health setting preferred.
• Successful completion of a drug screen prior to employment.
• Must be willing to travel up to 2.5 hours from Phoenix to patient homes.

$43 − $48 per hour (DOE). Includes time traveling to and from patients' homes.
