Position: PRN Company Health & Wellness Registered Nurse

Overview

Corporate Health Registered Nurse needed for an ongoing per-diem contract opportunity with Yoh’s corporate office client located in Tempe, AZ (two locations – Tempe North & Tempe South). This job is on an as-needed basis with the schedule usually made in advance. Must be able to work 0 to 5 shifts per week between Monday and Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Average is 2-4 shifts a month. The clinic offers occupational, primary, and preventive care for employees of a corporate office.

Top Skills You Should Possess
  • Active/unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of Arizona
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Preferred experience in:
    Occupational Health, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Primary Care, Family Medicine, Corrections, or School Nursing-type setting
  • Recent clinical experience and strong first-aid skills
  • Professional, dedicated, friendly, and helpful employee
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Nursing assessment, triage, treatment, and education for employee health concerns
  • Ambulatory care such as treating sore throats, earaches, rashes, pink eye, etc.
  • Travel health consultation, health coaching, and health education
  • Provide medical testing/biometric screenings such as EKGs, pulmonary function tests, phlebotomy, blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, vision and hearing screening, and perform limited interpretation of tests
  • Immunizations
  • Respond to emergencies onsite and provide emergency medical care as needed (assist First Responders)

  • Flexible schedule between Monday and Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm provided in advance to cover for time off
  • BLS certification
  • Computer savvy (including prior EMR use)
