Referral Management RN – Night Shift

Location: Tempe, AZ

Behavioral Health Connections (BHC) is a provider of comprehensive mental health services. We are seeking a dynamic and talented Referral Management RN to work full‑time night shifts (12‑hour shifts). Under the direction of the Clinical Program Director, the role plays a vital role in managing electronic referrals, coordinating care, conducting clinical reviews of medical records, and supporting crisis assessment teams.

• Review assessment referrals from various sources in collaboration with other clinicians to assess patient needs.
• Assist in coordinating patient care and ensure safe patient placements.
• Maintain patient records, update databases, and ensure accurate documentation of patient information in approved EMR and other platforms.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure compliance with HR policies and HIPAA standards.
• Provide support to the crisis assessor team and conduct crisis assessments as needed.

• Licensed RN – Current State Nursing License (Required).
• Preferred:
  Nursing Licensure Compact.
• Current CPR and required vaccines (as per customer hospital).
• 1–3 years of experience in Behavioral Health.
• Basic knowledge of insurance benefits and coverage.
