Required:

1 year of Operating Room circulating experience.

• Practice guided by the ANA Standard for Professional Nurse and Code of Ethics.
• Record patient medical history, administer diagnostics, operate equipment, and provide treatments and medications.
• Monitor patients, document observations, and consult with physicians and other health‑care clinicians.
• Develop, implement, evaluate, and revise patient care plans, ensuring they are family‑centered, evidence‑based, and culturally appropriate.
• Start, maintain, and discontinue intravenous lines and monitor for complications.
• Provide patient and family education on illness management, post‑treatment care, nutrition, and medication administration.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to licensed practical nurses and nursing aides, providing direction and support.
• Precept new staff and students, assisting their competency development.
• Continuously improve clinical knowledge and practice; evaluate quality and effectiveness of care delivered.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Integrate ethical principles and cultural competence into all aspects of care.
• Participate in evidence‑based practice initiatives and research to enhance patient outcomes.

• BSN required within 60 months of hire or 5+ years of registered‑nurse experience.
• Associate’s or Diploma in Nursing required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

• At least 10 months of med‑surg or acute specialty setting experience.
• One year of RN experience for all float positions.
• One year of OR circulating experience required.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Registered Nurse license in the state of Arizona required upon hire.
• National certification for unit‑specific patient populations preferred.
