6:30 am - 3:00 pm with Rotating Weekends - day off during the week.
Must be able to train either 6:30 am - 3:00 pm either Sunday
- Thursday or Tuesday
- Saturday. 12 Weeks Training.

Your impact as a Laboratory Technician is vital. Support Vitalant's life-saving mission by operating within the laboratory handling responsibilities that include component production, labeling, record reviewing and data entry.
What to ExpectWork Shift:
6:30 am - 3:00 pm with Rotating Weekends - day off during the week.
Training:
Must be able to train 6:30 am - 3:00 pm Sunday
- Thursday or Tuesday
- Saturday. 12 Weeks Training.
Hourly Pay Rate: 18.27 - 18.67 DOE

- Maintain accurate data records and documentation.
- Prepare blood components through processes such as centrifugation, separation, freezing, thawing, washing, storage, sterile docking, transformation, and filtration.
- Ensure product quality, volume, appearance, and time requirements.
- Conduct labeling for routine and special components and implement quarantine procedures.

Skills/AbilitiesMust be able to stand for long periods of time, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be detail oriented and possess strong communication, organization, and analytical skills.
Must be able to maintain donor, patient and employee confidentiality.
Must possess basic keyboarding skills and the ability to handle and operate laboratory equipment.
Must be able to work flexible shifts and overtime when necessary.
