• Produce a quality product that meets customer specifications and maintain sufficient inventory to satisfy internal and external customers.
• Perform inspection and tests on parts and assemblies per written specifications.
• Use electrical or mechanical equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, current meters, voltage meters, dial calipers and indicators, height gauges, micrometers, and microscopes.
• Complete and maintain accurate test data and records.
• Interface with production and engineering teams.
• Creation and maintenance of work instructions, visual aids, and standard work documents.
• Use basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of experience with all safety (mechanical, chemical, electrical) procedures applicable to the job.

• Associate Degree.
• The Tester must be able to multitask in a manufacturing environment and may be needed to perform specialized tests and rework procedures as directed by supervision.
• Must maintain adequate throughput with high levels of quality while working in a dark room environment.
• Must have strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Must be able to work alone and with others in a dark room environment.
• Ability to clearly read, write, and understand English.
• Working knowledge of electrical or mechanical measuring equipment and quality control terminology.
• Related manufacturing work experience (including soldering and high‑volume production) Soldering certification.
• Must be able to multi‑task.
• Ability to become familiar with Six Sigma problem‑solving tools, 5S and Lean methodologies.
• Teamwork oriented.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision if necessary.
• Ability to make quality decisions quickly.
• Manual dexterity.
• Hand‑eye coordination.
• Good (correctable) eyesight (or ability to discern visually).
