We are looking for a EHS Coordinator to support the Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager in administering and maintaining the company's safety, health, environmental, and compliance programs. This role assists with training, inspections, audits, incident investigations, regulatory reporting, recordkeeping, and continuous improvement initiatives. The EHS Coordinator serves as a resource to employees and supervisors, helps ensure regulatory compliance, and may independently manage assigned projects and administrative functions under the direction of the EHS Manager.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm in Office position.Local candidates preferred, we do not provide relocation assistance.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities to create and drive strategy for overall quality, compliance, and GMP initiatives throughout the organization via but not limited to the following:
- Assist with the administration, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS programs, policies, procedures, and training.
- Coordinate safety training activities, maintain training records, and track employee training compliance.
- Participate in incident, injury, and near-miss investigations; document findings and assist with corrective action follow-up.
- Assist with OSHA logs, incident reports, regulatory filings, and other compliance documentation.
- Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and workplace observations; communicate findings and track corrective actions.
- Support emergency preparedness programs, evacuation drills, and business continuity activities.
- Assist with environmental compliance activities, including permits, waste management[DH1.1], SDS administration, and required recordkeeping.
- Maintain EHS metrics, reports, compliance records, and department documentation.
- Coordinate contractor safety requirements and support vendor compliance activities.
- Support ergonomic assessments and workplace safety improvement initiatives.
- Assist with facility-related compliance inspections and coordinate service requests with internal departments and vendors as needed.
- Collect, analyze, and present safety data and trends to support management decision-making.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects designed to improve safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.
- May independently lead assigned safety initiatives, audits, training programs, and administrative projects.
- Maintain a safe work environment and perform other duties as assigned.
- Reports to work regularly and on time.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field.
- 2-5 years of safety, EHS, manufacturing, quality, or regulatory compliance experience.
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, incident investigation techniques, and workplace safety practices.
- Experience conducting inspections, audits, training, or compliance-related activities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
