TSI was founded in 1973 in Tempe, Arizona, by our current owner and president. We now run two shifts and employ over 100 people. We're located about five minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.
About the Role:We're hiring an NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) Technician to join our team! In this role, you'll perform Liquid Penetrant Inspection (PT), Flow Testing, and Halide Leak Testing on aerospace components, helping ensure every part meets strict industry and customer standards before it leaves our facility. If you're detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and looking to grow your NDT certifications in a stable, hands-on manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform Liquid Penetrant (PT) inspections per written procedures and customer specs
- Conduct Flow Testing and Halide Leak Testing
- Maintain process controls (dwell times, temperatures, contamination prevention)
- Verify equipment calibration and compliance
- Document inspection results and identify nonconformances
- Interpret codes, standards, and technical requirements
- Support quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives
- High School Diploma or GED
- Level II NDT certification (NAS 410 or equivalent) or ability to obtain
- Experience with PT and leak/flow testing in aerospace or manufacturing
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, inspection systems)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Manufacturing setting with PPE required; standing, bending, and light lifting (up to 15 lbs.) required.
