We are seeking a Land Specialist to provide critical administrative, organizational, and communication support for land acquisition and development activities. This role ensures smooth coordination between landowners, legal teams, title companies, and project developers, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring that agreements and documentation are properly managed.

The Land Specialist will play a key role in supporting lease agreements, easements, and related property documentation during renewable energy project development. This position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills who can manage multiple priorities at once.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, resourceful, and eager to contribute to the success of renewable energy projects by building strong processes and ensuring seamless collaboration between internal teams and landowners. This role is part of a global team working toward common goals. We operate as one company, across all locations, with shared responsibility and clear accountability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform land acquisition duties and property management by coordinating communication with landowners, project teams, and external vendors.
  • Manage landowner correspondence, schedule meetings, and maintain positive relationships on behalf of the development team.
  • Track land agreements, permits, and documentation in internal databases and project management systems.
  • Support the preparation, review, and execution of leases, easements, licenses, and other real estate documents.
  • Manage due diligence efforts, including title research, surveys, legal descriptions, and deed reviews.
  • Maintain accurate records of land acquisition pipelines, payments, and contract compliance.
  • Collaborate with legal teams and notaries to ensure proper execution and filing of agreements.
  • Prepare landowner packets, informational materials, and project communications for outreach.
  • Provide administrative assistance to land and development managers, including scheduling, reporting, and database upkeep.
  • Assist with GIS mapping data and property tracking in collaboration with analysts and development teams.
  • Support resolution of landowner inquiries or issues by directing them to the appropriate internal contacts.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of land management processes, templates, and workflows.
Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Geography, Environmental Studies, or related field required.
  • Experience with real estate, title, or land management required.
  • Real estate license or land-related certifications a plus but not required.
Experience & Technical Skills
  • 1–3 years of experience in land specialization, real estate administration, title, or project support roles.
  • Familiarity with land agreements, legal descriptions, and property records preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and database management systems.
  • Experience with GIS mapping software (ArcGIS, QGIS, Google Earth) helpful.
  • Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with landowners and internal teams.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent follow-through.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster positive relationships with landowners.
  • Reliable, proactive, and adaptable problem-solver.
  • Comfortable handling sensitive information and contracts with discretion.
  • Team-oriented, collaborative, and supportive.
  • Passion for renewable energy and contributing to impactful projects.
